As you may have noticed I’ve made some change to this site, particularly the blog. Amongst other things I’ve moved from using blogger as the publishing tool to using WordPress. Functionality wise we should be all up and running again with the blog. There are more changes I want to make to wider site and the style sheet needs work. Watch this space.

So I’ll be gracing the shores of that green and pleasant land with an appearance shortly which will be nice because certain thought process wont happen there:
- It will hopefully, at no point, seem like a good idea to start one’s evening out at 11PM.
- Hopefully no one will even sell bái jiǔ (白酒)- for the uninitiated bái jiǔ is China’s national drink, I can best describe by saying that it is ironic that until 20 odd years ago most Chinese people apparently referred to beer as horse urine (or some vernacular version thereof). Bái jiǔ is rarely pleasant and never an experience to get excited about.
- If if they do sell it in England then it will never seem like a good idea to actually drink it.
- And even if you did drink it you wouldn’t think it was a good idea to drink most of a bottle to give someone face.
- And even if that did happen, which it couldn’t, it wouldn’t happen at 4 AM in a noddle shop.
C’mon England.
Hopefully being in England (though I can’t think why) would stop thought processes like “isn’t beer brilliant, it’s numbed the pain in my foot so much that I can even dance, so I think I’ll go and dance for an hour or so”. Stupid beer. *hobbles off into other room mumbling to self*
